Looking at this biliard, you might think this is another one of the Chubby series of pipes that I've been making. However, it's actually of rather normal length, it's just that it's a very robust pipe - the shank is actually 7/8" in diameter, the same as the tobacco chamber. So while I suppose it is chubby, it's not a nosewarmer by any stretch.

The blast on this pipe is very detailed, though not that deep - a limitation of the rings which are very close tight and very close together. I added a faux ivory ring to help give contrast between the shank and the hand cut stem, and I also treated the pipe to a mild contrast stain to help accentuate the blast.
