Smokin' Egg
Price: $365
It's funny. On most summer holidays you would expect folks to relax, have a few beers, attend cookouts, socialize with family, and just generally relax. Unfortunately, while I'm not opposed to any of the above, I'm rarely capable of just sitting still. So, on this Memorial Day, while I smoked a pork roast and attended to a few other things around the yard, I decided to fill my time with making pipes. The good thing is, I find pipe making one of the most relaxing and refreshing things I can do.
This pipe is obviously a stylized egg shape, so when an interesting name didn't leap out right from the get-go, I decided to call it the Smokin' Egg - it's kind of a joke, since it's an egg, and I made it while smoking a pork roast, and you can smoke the egg....
Right. Anyway, it's a great smooth finish with nary a blemish and has a wonderfully comfortable hand cut stem.
