When I got my fisrt shipment of morta, the block that this pipe came from was part of the shipment. I couldn't believe how huge a piece it was, knowing full well that most morta blocks are necessarily small due to the difficulty in drying the wood without checks and cracks forming. Surely my supplier has some sort of superhuman skill in getting morta to dry evenly and consistently!

Since I was using an entire large block for the bowl of this pipe, I decided to spare no expense or effort, and used an entire four knuckles from the best end of one of my best lengths of bamboo. The result is a pipe that borders on churchwarden proportions, but keeps itself in check so as to maintain an air of elegance and aristocracy without going overboard - hence the name.

This pipe is also graded as a Nobleman due to the flawless finish and wonderful bit of bamboo. Fitting.
